Dear Pirate Parties,

It is my pleasure to formally invite you all to the next European Pirate Party Council meeting, that will take place on 24th of November in Hybrid form. The Czech Pirate party has kindly offered to host the meeting in Prague, and it will also be possible to participate in the meeting entirely online. the discussions will take place on Jitsi, with votes taking place on Discourse.  The Council meeting will start at 09:30 and it is scheduled to end no later than 16:00.  There will be a number of breaks for coffee and lunch during the meeting. Member parties can suggest additions to the agenda. These shall include “Item for the agenda for the 17th Council meeting” in their title, and can be posted in the 17th Council meeting category on Discourse: https://discourse.european-pirateparty.eu/c/councilmeetings/17cm .
If you are unable to connect to Discourse, an email sent to board@european-pirateparty.eu will also work. Please bear in mind that proposals to change the statutes need to be submitted to the board no later than tomorrow, October 24th, for the board to be able to send it out to the members in accordance with article 25 in the statutes. Proposals for changes of the statutes submitted later will instead be addressed at the following Council meeting.


Election of new Board Members\\

Delegates\\
In line with our statutes every member party can send a certain number of official delegates to our Council meetings. These have the rights to speak and vote on behalf of the member party. You can find a list of the number of delegates and votes for each member party here: https://wiki.ppeu.net/doku.php?id=ppeu:members To make the meeting run smoother, please make sure that your party register their delegates for the meeting before it starts. In addition to the Council meeting on the 24th of November the Czech Pirate Party will host a whole day of pre-events on the 23rd for people attending in person in Prague. More information about this day will be distributed by the hosts.
